First floor type is the brick floors. Brick floors are porous material which need to be first sealed with commercial sealer and solvent-base wax. Overtime you have to remove the wax build-up on the brick floors by using a scrub brush with wax-stripping preparation. If the brick floor is already sealed then you have to clean your floors by adding a cup of vinegar in a pail of water. Then you have to soak your mop into the pail. After soaking it for a couple of seconds then removed the damp-mopped from the pail and start mopping your floor.

For Concrete floors, they should again be sealed just like brick floors so that it would only need little cleaning. But if you happened to have unsealed concrete floors then you have to remove first the dirt by vacuuming or sweeping it. Then use a mopped soaked with strong all purpose cleaning solution.

Slate floors is another type of natural stone flooring that has to be cleaned by using a damp-mop with all-purpose cleaning solution.

A terazzo floor is a durable material which is very good to be the floor type of your home. The terazzo floors are cleaned by soaking with an all-purpose solution and warn water the mop. Then after soaking it mopped the floor then dry it with a clean towel.

Quarry tile floor cleaning is done my mopping the floor with a mixture of water and vinegar. Quarry tiles are expensive but durable.

Marble floors are expensive and used in countertops and walls. It is cleaned by using a damp-mopped that has been soaked with water and all-purpose solution. Marble Floors are polish by applying water base wax that brings back its shine.

The one floor that is easily maintained is the vinyl floor. It only needs to be wash with all purpose cleaning solution, then dried with clean towel.

Linoleum floor is cleaned easily with a simple vacuuming and damp-mopping. This type of floor is very durable and no challenge to be cleaned.

Asphalt tile is a very resilient material to oil, solvents, and abrasive cleaning solutions. But this tile can be easily cleaned through damp-mopping the floor every week.

There are quite a number of equipments and products use in floor cleaning. The most common are the all-purpose cleaning products, mop and the vacuum cleaner. The floor types I discuss earlier are very easy to clean. Always remember to polish the Marble floor so that it shines. Sealing some floor types is vital to clean floors easily.
